Building AI-Proof Positioning™ in Public: The Messy, Real Process of Creating Something Valuable

I’m about to launch a framework about standing out from AI-generated content by being distinctly human.

And I realized something.

Launching it as a perfectly polished, completed framework would completely miss the point.

So I’m doing something different.

Over the next few weeks, I’m building AI-Proof Positioning™ entirely in public.

  • The messy first drafts.
  • The real implementation challenges.
  • The unexpected wins.
  • The moments where we completely pivot based on what’s actually working.

Because that’s exactly what this framework is about. The power of showing your real expertise, not just the polished final version.

To demonstrate this, let me introduce you to Dan. A composite character I created to illustrate the real patterns emerging from my work with experienced entrepreneurs. While Dan is fictional, his challenges and transformations come directly from actual client experiences (with proprietary details protected).

Dan’s story begins with a realization that stopped him cold. His course platform looked polished, professional… and completely forgettable.

“It could have been written by anyone,” he said. “Or anything.”

This moment mirrors conversations I’m having every week: experienced entrepreneurs discovering their real expertise has become invisible behind safe, generic language.

Behind the Scenes This Week:

  1. Just completed the first Strategic Anchor workshop
  2. Testing different question frameworks to uncover hidden expertise
  3. Documenting what actually works vs. what sounds good in theory

Early Patterns Worth Sharing:

  • Most struggle to see their own expertise clearly
  • Real value often hides in “obvious” experience
  • Specific problems solved > general capabilities

What surprised me most? The businesses implementing this aren’t just changing their messaging. They’re rediscovering confidence in their expertise.

Through Dan’s story and real (anonymized) examples, you’ll see this framework develop in real-time. Over the next few weeks, we’ll build:

  1. The Strategic Anchor that sets you apart
  2. Core Drivers that make your approach unique
  3. Unique Terminology that makes your expertise memorable
  4. A Revolutionary Approach that challenges norms
  5. Real-World Integration methods that work
  6. Impact Messaging that converts

Each part includes the actual worksheets, templates, and frameworks we’re developing and testing. You’ll see what works, what doesn’t, and how we adjust based on real implementation feedback.

Want to see what we’re building? Here’s the first Strategic Anchor Worksheet draft. I’d love your feedback on what resonates.

Next update Friday:
I’ll share what we learned from the first round of implementations — both the wins and the surprising challenges we discovered.

What expertise are you hiding behind generic language? Reply and let me know.

Building (very publicly) together,

-Max

P.S. The irony of using a fictional character while promoting authenticity isn’t lost on me either. But Dan’s story lets me share real patterns and transformations while protecting client privacy.

You’ll get both — authentic behind-the-scenes insights and clear illustrations of how this works in practice.

Stay Curious,

-Max
